Southside Little League

Southside Little League has been a chartered Little League in the City of Rochester since 1954.  Our region covers the areas east of the Genesee River and south of East Avenue, including the Highland Park, South Wedge, Park Ave, Cobbs Hill, Upper Monroe, and Monroe-Pearl-Meigs Neighborhoods.  Additionally, any students who attend schools within this region can also participate.  Our motto is "Building Community Through Baseball" and we offer a great opportunity to learn the sports of baseball and softball in a fun, supportive environment that helps bring children and families together in the City of Rochester.

In Little League Baseball and Softball programs, everyone gets to play and participate regardless of skill level.  There are no "tryouts" or "cuts". Founded by Carl Stotz in 1939, Little League was started to provide a wholesome baseball program for children and to teach them the ideals of fair play, sportsmanship, and teamwork.  Today, Southside Little League carries on this tradition, offering programs for girls and boys ages 4 through 12, with additional opportunities through our partner program at Eastside Little League for older players.
